What You'll Do

Provide expert nursing care in the operating room, adhering to the Nursing Process and safety standards
Assist with preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to changes during operations
Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
Support patient and family education within the perioperative setting

What You Need

Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana or applicable state
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Experience in operating room or perioperative care
- Strong organizational and delegation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment
Preferred:
- Previous leadership experience or supervisory skills
- Basic computer proficiency
