Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while actively engaging with clients in their homes and through our outpatient center. Therapists will have the autonomy to conduct therapy sessions either remotely or in-person, depending on the needs of the families we serve. Direct interaction with the clients will occur primarily during after-school hours from 4 PM to 7 PM, with weekends available for those who wish to enhance their availability for clients. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Pro Wellness, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions in clients’ homes as well as facilitating group therapy sessions at our outpatient center.
\n
• Implementing tailored therapeutic strategies aimed at managing anger, enhancing coping mechanisms, and developing social skills in children and families.
\n
• Assisting youth and caregivers in enhancing decision-making skills to address behavioral challenges that may arise in home settings.
\n
• Collaborating regularly with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to coordinate treatment efforts and share insights on each client’s progress.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, while adhering to established deadlines.
\n
• Participating in monthly team meetings to contribute to ongoing case discussions, share successes, and propose enhancements to service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who are experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of needs. This role requires an understanding of their specific challenges, facilitating a therapeutic approach that fosters growth and stability. Your role will be instrumental in improving social integration and providing essential support to caregivers navigating these complexities.

Qualifications\n

We require candidates to possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for home visits

• Background clearance including successful completion of a criminal background check with fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of two years of experience in therapeutic roles, particularly with children experiencing behavioral or emotional difficulties.
