Accounting Assistant

Terrafirma manages 35 commercial condo associations across the Scottsdale area and has grown entirely through referrals, owners sending us their friends and colleagues because we're the firm that actually answers the phone.

We're hiring an Accounting Assistant to own the daily accounts payable and accounts receivable work, help build the monthly reports that clients count on, and be a steady, professional voice when a vendor or tenant calls with a billing question. You'll work closely with our Senior Accountant, so this is a role for someone who wants real ownership over the numbers, not just data entry. How you communicate matters just as much as how accurately you reconcile. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Scottsdale, working standard business hours as part of a small, hands-on team.

WHAT THE WORK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE On any given day, you'll move between AP and AR, put together financial reports, and answer billing questions from vendors and tenants, sometimes all within the same afternoon. Since the team is small, general office work will come your way too as it's needed.
