You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Princeton, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to identify the functional limitations experienced by patients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect patients' unique needs and goals while adhering to best practices in physical therapy.
• Engage in regular consultations with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and transitions through the continuum of care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, their families, and support staff regarding treatment progress and modifications.
• Document treatment sessions accurately, including evaluations, methods used, and patient responses, in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, aides, and students to enhance their professional development and ensure high-quality care delivery.

• Engage in continuous education and professional development to stay current with evolving practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population encompassing various age groups and cultural backgrounds. This includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and other physical impairments. Your role will focus on creating inclusive treatment options that resonate with each patient's specific circumstances and cultural context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a rehabilitation center.
• Experience working with an interdisciplinary treatment team and familiarity with patient-centered care approaches.
• Knowledge of current therapeutic practices and modalities specific to physical therapy.
