Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center located in Princeton, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Direct the provision of physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring movement and strength to clients.
• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure compliance with established care plans and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities using diagnostic tests to tailor rehabilitation strategies effectively.
• Assess clients' home environments and make recommendations to enhance their independence and safety.
• Deliver physical therapy services as prescribed by physicians, customizing approaches based on individual client assessments.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and guide clients through their rehabilitation programs, offering motivation and support.
• Provide treatments such as traction, massage, and physical agents to promote recovery.
• Evaluate and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices to ensure optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate actively as a member of an interdisciplinary team, contributing to case conferences and treatment strategy discussions.
• Educate clients and their families on physical therapy procedures, equipment care, and overall health improvement strategies.
• Support and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants during client treatment sessions.
• Engage with community resources to maximize patient support and rehabilitation opportunities.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management to meet organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients who may be recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. You will be integral in developing personalized rehabilitation plans that support their unique recovery journeys. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in good standing within the state of New Jersey.
• One year of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in acute or home care settings.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation center or similar healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits
