Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist on a full-time, contract basis. This position offers a chance to make a genuine impact in a school setting, with the assignment running from now through June 4, 2027. You'll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours each week, in a collaborative environment focused on student success.

What you’ll bring:

• Current, active North Carolina SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in K-12 schools
• Strong knowledge and use of assistive listening technology
• Experience managing a school-based SLP caseload (caseloads determined by experience)
• Willingness and ability to supervise SLPA if needed
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices
• Flexibility and adaptability within dynamic school environments

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across age groups
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and compliance reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Supervise and mentor SLPA as needed to maintain high standards of service delivery
• Integrate assistive listening devices and technology into therapy plans where appropriate
