This contract opportunity spans the academic year through June 4, 2027, offering rewarding full-time work, Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours weekly. The caseload will be tailored based on professional background and experience, ensuring a manageable and fulfilling assignment for each Speech-Language Pathologist.

Applicants must hold an active North Carolina SLP license and demonstrate proficiency with assistive listening technology. Supervision aptitude is essential, as you may be required to oversee an SLPA. Please note that candidates with Voco SLP backgrounds will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Proficiency in utilizing and implementing assistive listening devices and related technology
• Capability and willingness to supervise SLPA team members, if necessary
• Flexibility for caseload management, adapting to the needs of students and the district
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, tailored to students’ unique learning profiles
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate optimal student outcomes
• Supervise and mentor SLPAs as required by the assignment and caseload structure
• Maintain accurate records, contribute to IEP meetings, and track student progress
