Accounts Payable Clerk

We're looking for a detail-driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join a great accounting team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong eye for accuracy and process improvement, I'd love to connect!
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
- Manage outgoing payments in compliance with company policies
- Verify, classify, and record accounts payable transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Handle expense reports, credit card statements, and freight invoices (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
- Maintain and apply GL coding and expense accounts
- Ensure compliance with AP regulations (W-9s, sales tax, etc.)
- Create vendor payment files
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Provide backup support to the AP team as needed
- 2+ years of hands-on AP/accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and bookkeeping principles
- Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in systems (Sage MAS 100, Outlook, Word)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
