As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Expert in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs. In this unarmed role, you will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel or resort setting.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, guest common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe activity at the location, and assist with directions, credential checks, and/or visitor interactions while supporting a welcoming guest experience.
• Communicate with site contacts, local responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or other security-related issues observed during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
