Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions to address various mental health issues, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster peer interaction and support, focusing on topics such as anxiety management, stress reduction, and coping skills.
\n
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on assessments and tailored to each client’s personal goals and needs, ensuring they are evidence-based and culturally relevant.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide holistic care for patients.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and secure electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate documentation of sessions, patient progress, and treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning as appropriate to ensure client welfare.

• Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families, who may be dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and various situational crises. Our clinic emphasizes culturally competent care, recognizing and addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of our clients to create a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid LPCC licensure in California is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is mandatory; a Master's degree in counseling psychology or related areas is strongly preferred.

• Competence in using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems, encouraging innovation in client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
