Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to clients in an outpatient context, focusing on establishing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and goals, facilitating informed treatment planning.

• Create, implement, and evaluate customized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring they align with clients' evolving needs.

• Foster collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for every client.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to engage in peer consultation, thereby enhancing clinical skills and maintaining high quality of care.

• Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines, including HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, to maintain confidentiality and integrity in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and life experiences, often navigating complex mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals and families facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. The LPCC's role is crucial in fostering emotional resilience and guiding clients toward healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A valid California LPCC license in good standing.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably with diverse populations.

• Proficient understanding of various evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Strong communication abilities, clinical judgment, and cultural competence to effectively connect with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is preferred; adaptability to technology is essential.

• Demonstrated proficiency in working with clients who have experienced trauma, along with the ability to utilize trauma-informed care approaches.

• Experience providing remote therapy and familiarity with telehealth workflows.

• Knowledge of and experience with a range of therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to meet individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience and caseload.
