Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health to determine their psychological and emotional needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

• Provide therapeutic interventions through individual and group sessions, employing evidence-based practices and culturally responsive techniques.
\n
• Offer clients coping strategies and resources to empower them in their recovery journey and support them in overcoming challenges.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to coordinate care and referrals as necessary.

• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) to document therapy sessions, assessments, treatment plans, and client progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including adults who experience a variety of mental health issues. This includes individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, and substance use challenges. You will also support clients with eating disorders, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating expertise in various treatment modalities and client populations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with diverse clients and fostering a therapeutic relationship.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
