Key Responsibilities

As the Pediatric Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, particularly in relation to orthopedic issues.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices to meet each child's individual needs.
• Regularly monitoring patient progress through informed assessments, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Documenting clinical interventions, progress notes, and patient care plans using our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with timelines and regulatory standards.
• Educating patients and their guardians about their treatment processes, emphasizing recovery strategies and setting realistic expectations for progress.
• Collaborating with other specialists in our clinic to provide coordinated care for children receiving multiple therapeutic interventions.
• Upholding our clinic's core values, acting as an ambassador for our mission and contributing to our positive workplace culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will predominantly focus on treating children experiencing a range of orthopedic issues, from post-surgical recovery to developmental conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• A commitment to working with pediatric patients, including willingness to provide care through both in-person visits and telehealth sessions as clinically appropriate.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
