Technical Sales Engineer

Main Responsibilities Generate and qualify leads Source and develop client referrals Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, email, or in person Prepare sales action plans and strategies Schedule sales activity, maintain records for sales reports, and create and submit expense reports Respond to leads from CRM (Sharp Spring) Develop and maintain a customer database Make sales calls to new and existing clients Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships Identify and participate in sales events and trade shows Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development Travel both domestically and internationally Education and Experience Education in or understanding of chemistry and/or chemical, electrical engineering and its applications in academic and industrial setting Knowledge of principles and practices of sales Familiarity with CRM systems Knowledge of customer service Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred Proven ability to achieve sales targets Planning and strategizing Working independently Persuasiveness Adaptability Ability to multi‑task and prioritize Verbal and written communication Resilience and tenacity Stress tolerance Mechanical aptitude a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Disability insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Compensation Package Commission pay 3 years Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Sales and Business Development Industries Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
