Medical Device Assembler

Job TitleSummary:Work Mode: OnsiteLocation: Plymouth, MNResponsibilities:Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.Perform detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery per documented procedures.Conduct electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging.Clean tools and equipment following documented procedures.Dispose of hazardous waste material in designated hazardous waste areas.Assemble medical devices and related components, potentially in a controlled cleanroom environment.Utilize microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and various equipment.Perform routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures.Conduct visual inspection and precision measurements on components and assemblies.Test units using computerized test equipment.Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.Requirements:High school diploma required.Minimum of 1 full year of medical device experience required.Ability to explain past relevant experience.Preferred Skills:At least 2 years of medical device assembly experience (catheter or small component assembly preferred).Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills.Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.Quality inspection and attention to detail.Basic documentation and compliance (GDP/GMP environment).Frequent use of a microscope for assembly and inspection.
