Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient concerns and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect individual goals and aspirations.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that address prevalent mental health topics, creating a sense of community and shared experience among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver synchronized, effective patient care, ensuring that all aspects of mental health are addressed.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and facilitate recovery.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, probable treatments, and available community resources to encourage autonomy and informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, contributing to the continuity of care and compliance monitoring.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in mental health therapy to refine techniques and approaches to care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role primarily involves working with a diverse patient population dealing with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and mood disturbances. Our patient-centric approach ensures that treatments are individualized, considering both cultural backgrounds and specific challenges faced by each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. Master’s or Doctoral degrees in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology are preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities, along with practical experience utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Proven ability to develop effective treatment plans based on thorough assessments and to adapt these plans as treatment progresses.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage patient caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience working with diverse populations and maintaining professional boundaries while delivering care.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting delivering individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000.
