At Bonaventure Senior Living, our Executive Chef plays a vital role in overseeing the culinary staff and leading our dining services department. In this dynamic position, you will develop innovative menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring that all meals are prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will continuously work to enhance the dining experience within our communities. Up to 10 days of paid time off annually. 6 Paid Holidays Off What Will You Be Doing? Crafting menus and developing standardized recipes and food production schedules. Overseeing kitchen and dining staff while managing budget and inventory. Leading and inspiring excellent customer service for our residents. Ensuring meals are served with an appetizing and attractive presentation. Creating and maintaining the schedule for the dining services team. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining room While you will guide the culinary team in meal preparations, this role does not require hands-on cooking, allowing you to focus on leadership, management, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our residents. Qualifications Have a passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional dining experiences. Prior success in working in or managing dining services. Has experience working with budgets. Have or obtain a food handlers license Has the ability to organize and supervise dining service staff English language required. CPR Certification (preferred).
