About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed orthopedic unit with a night shift ratio of 6:1 (7:1 stretch)
• Perform procedures including dressing changes, suture and staple removal, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube placement, and wound vac maintenance and removal
• Operate unit equipment such as CPM machines, sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, bladder scanners, hover mats, and bair huggers
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and HUCs in a fast-paced environment

• Active North Carolina RN License
• BLS Certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Must start no later than February 9, 2026 - no exceptions

• Prior orthopedic nursing experience
• Hospital-based acute care experience
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and function effectively as a team player
