Human Resources Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator supports recruiting and HR operations for warehouse and transportation teams. This role coordinates hiring and onboarding, responds to employee questions, maintains confidential records, and helps ensure HR processes are accurate, timely, and consistent with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate recruitment for open warehouse and transportation positions, partnering with managers to understand role requirements and desired qualifications.

Manage onboarding for new hires and rehires, including employment paperwork, Form I-9 completion and verification, and Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) compliance.

Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee and I-9 files.

Conduct new-hire orientation in English and Spanish.

Respond to routine applicant and employee questions about employment procedures and HR processes.

Support termination paperwork and other employee lifecycle documentation.

Help communicate and reinforce company culture, core values, and policies.

Assist employees and supervisors with HR-related inquiries, escalating sensitive or complex matters to the appropriate team member.

Provide basic support with HR policies and benefits questions, including annual open enrollment.

Help coordinate company events and employee activities.

Perform other administrative and clerical duties in support of the Human Resources Department.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.

At least 2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills required.

Strong onboarding experience, including familiarity with Form I-9 requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, procedures, and employment laws.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and stay effective in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and managers at all levels.

Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information and sensitive matters.
