Quick Facts Location: 607 Beaman Street, Clinton, NC 28328 Start Date: 08/29/2026 End Date/Duration: 10/16/2026 (October 13–16, 7 AM–7 AM) Shift: 24-hour shifts, on-call Hours/week: Not specified (on-call coverage) Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Active North Carolina medical license, NC DEA, Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery Experience: General orthopedic surgery, trauma stabilization, experienced in wrist, ankle, and hip fractures Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (up to capped expenses) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You’ll Do Provide general orthopedic surgical care including stabilization of long bone trauma Manage 0-3 consults daily and perform 0-2 surgeries per day (wrist, ankle, hip fractures, I&D) Attend to emergency department visits for closed reductions and admissions Support the hospital's trauma stabilization and transfer processes Be available on-call for emergent orthopedic procedures Comply with hospital policies, including on-call response times within 20 minutes of the hospital What You Need Active North Carolina medical license and NC DEA (with NC address) Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery Experience in trauma stabilization and managing fractures Ability to work independently within a hospital setting Vaccinated against COVID-19 Must include NPI# in application About the Assignment Join a reputable healthcare facility in Clinton, NC, offering a comprehensive orthopedic surgery coverage opportunity during a designated short-term period.
