Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly with clients suffering from major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, providing evidence-based treatment and support.

• Build trusting relationships with clients, respecting their diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and behaviors to foster a safe counseling environment.

• Conduct thorough, developmentally appropriate assessments, and implement integrated care plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Implement prevention, treatment, and recovery services that are focused on the clients' immediate challenges and requests.

• Carry a manageable caseload to ensure personalized attention through assessment, individual therapy, and family counseling sessions.

• Monitor client progress by ensuring adherence to treatment plans, mediating any necessary interventions, and providing crisis management support when needed.

• Maintain high ethical standards as per professional guidelines and the code of conduct at Active Health Medical Center.

• Document all client interactions accurately and expeditiously, completing reports and data submissions in a timely manner.

• Participate in quality improvement committees to enhance service delivery and improve organizational outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients who are engaging in detoxification and recovery processes. This population often experiences co-occurring disorders and requires an understanding of both medical and psychological needs. You will be instrumental in ensuring that clients receive holistic care that addresses their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in mental health or substance use recovery settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
