If you're looking for stable work and want to be part of a team that makes a real impact, apply today!Line Operator Responsibilities:Set up and operate restrike presses, steam treaters, and oil impregnatorsPerform visual and dimensional inspections using various measuring toolsTroubleshoot and perform appropriate maintenance of the equipment by observation and general cleaningEnsure products meet quality standards and specificationsFollow safety, quality, and environmental policiesRecord production and inspection dataLoad / unload parts and operate overhead hoists and conveyorsLoad, unload and operate steam treaters and oil impregnatorsPerform basic troubleshooting and maintenanceSupport continuous improvement and training effortsRequirements for Line Operator:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredAt least one year of related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
