Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description The Pharmacy Technician will play a vital role in reviewing prior authorizations for the appeals department. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage data efficiently. Responsibilities * Review and process prior authorization requests for the appeals department. * Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and policies. * Collaborate with team members to streamline authorization processes. Essential Skills * Proficiency in pharmacy procedures. * Strong data entry skills. * Experience with prior authorization processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Possession of a valid state pharmacy license. Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced and detail-oriented, requiring the use of various technologies and software for data management. Team collaboration is encouraged to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
