Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Empower Well Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and formulate treatment plans for individuals and families dealing with a variety of issues.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for couples, involving both joint and individual meetings.
\n
• Work effectively with clients facing challenges such as psychological and physical abuse, grief, job-related stress, communication difficulties, and conflicts among family members.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies to create personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of session notes and progress reports in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
\n
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to keep abreast of current practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse client population that may include adults and children, dealing with various mental health challenges. Your role will specifically focus on providing therapy to couples, families, and individuals facing issues related to:

\n
• Adjustment difficulties, including separation and divorce

• Challenges in blended family dynamics

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Valid and active LMFT license in the state of Connecticut.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
