Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support their accounting operations. About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support their accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys managing day-to-day accounting responsibilities and maintaining accurate financial records. The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer records
- Track expenses and assist with expense reporting
- Support payroll processing and related accounting tasks as needed
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues
- Provide general administrative support to the finance function
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Small business or nonprofit bookkeeping experience
- Payroll processing experience
- Experience handling full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities
- Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliations
