Job Description
Join our finance team as an Accounting Clerk and become a vital contributor to our organization’s financial health! In this energetic role, you will support the accounting department with essential bookkeeping, data entry, and financial record-keeping tasks. Your keen attention to detail and strong understanding of accounting principles will help ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Perform precise data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions using various accounting software.
- Assist in entering daily deposits into our collections software.
- Manage invoice processing, expense tracking, and client payments in accordance with company policies
- Review and ensure calculations on garnishment answer received by employers meet statutory requirments.
- Assist accounting with other day to day operations as needed.
Preferred Qualities and Experience:
- Experience in bookkeeping a plus
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data critically while maintaining high attention to detail a must.
- Strong math skills combined with effective communication abilities to support team collaboration
- Some legal experience preferred but no required
