Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for new clients, taking into account individual, couple, or family dynamics to develop tailored treatment plans that meet the specific needs of each client.

• Deliver high-quality individual, couple, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which are proven effective in fostering communication and resolving conflicts.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals—this includes psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists—to ensure holistic care and enhance client treatment outcomes.

• Meticulously document client progress, maintaining detailed treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical supervision and engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

• Stay informed on best practices, emerging research, and trends within the field of marriage and family therapy, facilitating ongoing improvements in therapy delivery.

• Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality in accordance with legal requirements and the organization's policies, fostering trustful client relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and family conflicts. Our emphasis on comprehensive therapy allows therapists to employ innovative techniques tailored to the unique circumstances faced by each client, enhancing their paths toward emotional and relational healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience, especially with substance abuse therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
