Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be conducted from a remote setting, allowing flexibility in your work hours while you maintain direct communication with clients, colleagues, and supervisors. While the majority of counseling will be conducted virtually, occasional in-the-field services may be required based on specific client needs, enabling you to engage more deeply with clients in their own environments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for clients, evaluating their strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and capabilities to create individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and solution-focused techniques.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing creative interventions to enhance therapeutic engagement and promote client progress.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a network of community resources and referral sources to coordinate a continuum of care for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring timely documentation of incidents and resolutions.
\n
• Be available for telephonic consultation with clients and their families to provide ongoing support and guidance outside of traditional therapy sessions.

• Maintain adherence to state licensing requirements and ethical standards in clinical practice.
\n
• Actively participate in case consultations and treatment team meetings, providing insights and updates on client progress and presentations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on working with a diverse client population that includes individuals experiencing schizophrenia, persistent mental illness, and substance abuse issues. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these individuals towards recovery by implementing tailored intervention strategies that address their unique psychological and emotional needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Current and active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Minimum of three years of clinical experience working with complex populations, including those with severe mental illness and substance use disorders.

• In-depth understanding of counseling theories and group therapy practices.

• Exceptional listening and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

• Experience and sensitivity in working with trauma-informed care methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
