Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments for individuals, couples, and families, documenting all findings accurately.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ unique needs and monitor progress throughout the therapeutic journey.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and methodologies to foster a safe space for client expression.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to create cohesive intervention strategies.

• Maintain regular communication with referring providers and other healthcare entities regarding client progress and treatment updates.

• Assist clients in identifying behaviors that impede their recovery and provide strategies to navigate these challenges effectively.

• Support families and caregivers in understanding mental health issues through education and skill-building initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of different therapy techniques that are effective for various age groups and demographics. Experience working with underrepresented communities and knowledge of culturally responsive practices is encouraged.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Successful completion of NCE and/or NCMHCE examinations.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably Avatars or similar platforms.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills essential for client interactions and documentation.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills complemented by a robust empathetic perspective.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, particularly in remote settings or community health clinics.

• Expertise in treating clients with co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse and mental health issues.

• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of psychotropic medication effects as prescribed by medical specialists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
