Perm - Social Worker (LMSW) - Outpatient (Days)

Adult Outpatient Therapist Opportunity Pay Rate: Full Michigan License: $29.47 – $39.67 per hour Limited Michigan License: $27.22 – $36.63 per hour Compensation is grant-based and dependent on licensing status and experience. Salary is non‑negotiable. Position Summary: Seeking an Adult Outpatient Therapist to provide clinical services to adults and families receiving outpatient behavioral health and co‑occurring substance use services. The ideal candidate will participate in intake evaluations, treatment planning, therapy services, and interdisciplinary collaboration while maintaining professional and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct intake assessments and evaluations. Assess, document, and develop person‑centered treatment plans. Provide individual and group therapy. Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, schools, and family support systems. Maintain state licensure and meet all funding and program requirements. Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations. Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate discharge planning and case closure activities.Complete 24 hours of training related to treating adults with mental health and/or co‑occurring substance use disorders. Perform other duties as assigned. Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Flexible scheduling available. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling (Required). Corresponding Michigan licensure (Required). Minimum of one year of experience treating or working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness (fieldwork and internships may qualify). Ability to work independently. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret and follow written, oral, and scheduled instructions. Cultural competency and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Flexibility to meet program needs. Additional Requirements: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
