School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Chicopee, Massachusetts

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting high school students in a specialized environment designed for individual growth and independence. This assignment runs from late August 2026 through late June 2027, closely aligning with the school year calendar. You'll partner with the Compass High Program, which serves learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other unique educational needs, providing a tailored approach that prioritizes both skill-building and personalized support.


This position requires an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), ideally with experience in school-based settings and an understanding of diverse learning profiles. Supervise an SLPA as you help foster communication skills critical to each student's success beyond the classroom.


What you bring:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure and CCC-SLP credential (required)
• Prior experience in school settings and with high school populations
• Insight into working with students with ASD and learning differences
• Strong supervisory skills to support an SLPA
• Ability to nurture individualized communication goals in a collaborative, innovative atmosphere


Responsibilities include:
• Providing speech-language therapy and assessment for high school students
• Supervising an SLPA within the specialized Compass High Program
• Documenting student progress and collaborating with educational teams and families

• Maintaining compliance with all state and program-specific guidelines
