TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of medical/surgical experience required License: Must have a valid compact or state nursing license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous travel experience preferred - Telemetry experience required - Skills in IV start and patient management Description: Weekend and rotating holidays required. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. Responsibilities include floating to different units within the organization as needed. Patient ratios estimated at 1:3. BLS certification is required. IV start skills are necessary. Telemetry experience is essential. Strong background in medical/surgical nursing is required. Candidates must have experience in managing cardiac drips. Experience in interpreting dysrhythmias is crucial. Knowledge of heparin and insulin drips is required. Familiarity with feeding tube care and management is essential. Skills in wound care, including wound vac management, are necessary. PICC line management training is required. Candidates will manage oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Additional procedures include peritoneal dialysis and chest tube management. Candidates should be adaptable and willing to collaborate with various teams.
