Work Environment

This position will primarily be remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from any location equipped with reliable internet access. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and areas for growth. You will sit down virtually with clients to immerse yourself in their unique stories and backgrounds.
• Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of our diverse clientele, utilizing tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that may include physicians, psychiatrists, and addiction specialists to ensure clients receive comprehensive support aimed at improving their overall mental health.
• Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring they have access to vital community resources, support services, and information they need to navigate their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes using our electronic health record system, guaranteeing compliance with regulation standards.
• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to stay abreast of new methodologies and enhance your clinical acumen.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele consists of individuals experiencing substance use disorders and various co-occurring mental health conditions. Your role as an LCSW will involve assisting clients during critical recovery periods, offering emotional support, and encouraging the development of coping strategies to foster long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited higher education institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing clinical social work services post-licensure, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and formulating effective treatment plans for diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• A firm commitment to cultural competence, ethical practice, and social justice principles.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox or addiction treatment facility is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with integrating telehealth modalities effectively into practice.
• Previous involvement with community resources and advocacy efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 , depending on your experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
