Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific strengths, weaknesses, and psychosocial needs, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions, documenting patient goals and responses to enhance their understanding and coping strategies.

• Participate in regular treatment-planning meetings to assess patient progress, share feedback, and make necessary updates to treatment plans.
\n
• Recognize and adeptly manage resistance and conflict among clients, families, and healthcare team members, employing appropriate interventions to guide clients towards productive behavioral changes.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and any communication with external agencies according to established standards of social work practice.

• Apply the latest DSM diagnostic criteria to evaluate and diagnose various disorders, along with a thorough understanding of human developmental psychology and its impact on treatment planning.

• Utilize behavior modification techniques, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy methodologies effectively in patient interactions.
\n
• Conduct thorough interviews and gather relevant data to formulate holistic assessments of the patient and their family, integrating medical, social, and emotional considerations.

• Regularly revisit and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing psychosocial assessments and client feedback, ensuring alignment with their evolving needs and cultural values.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals navigating the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders within a detox center setting. You will engage with diverse populations, providing culturally sensitive support that acknowledges and respects unique backgrounds and life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field.

• Must have an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Proficiency in interpreting a variety of complex data forms and the ability to convey information clearly.

• Commitment to timely documentation of services and compliance with organizational policies.

• We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually , reflecting your skills and experience.
