Executive Banquet Captain

Job Overview Corporate Dining Captain to oversee food and beverage operations for Dining amenities. Position requires exceptional leadership skills, strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Responsible for successful shift supervision including dining staff, ensuring seamless service, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive atmosphere. Job Responsibilities Demonstrate and promote JPMC's culture, always positively representing the Company. Oversee all aspects of service, including those in the dining room, private dining rooms, and pantries. Uphold all standards of the JPMC Client Dining service, appearance, and conduct, always promoting positive public and employee relations. Promote teamwork within the Client Centers, creating a positive work environment. Ensure sanitation compliance with NYC Health Department Code throughout the Client Center. Monitor food storage, handling, and preparation processes to maintain food safety standards. Develop relationships with guests and key users. Meet the expectations and requirements of our guests, always acting with them in mind. Actively participate in service to ensure quality standards are met and offer best‑in‑class client experiences. Effectively resolve guest complaints and issues, escalating to managers when necessary. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Exceptional food and beverage knowledge. Experience with POS systems and reporting. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Flexible schedule: late nights, holidays, long shifts. Can stand for 10–12 hours per shift. Process improvement mindset. Acts with integrity and chooses ethical actions. Protects company, clients, and customers. Works independently and makes sound business decisions. 3 years in fine dining or luxury hotel.
