Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients of all ages utilizing standardized assessments and observatory methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both short-term goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions targeting language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate alongside physical and occupational therapists, healthcare providers, caregivers, and family members to design unified care strategies.
• Provide educational support for patients and their families to enhance progress during non-clinical times.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations to ensure continuity across the patient's care journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation per state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Remain abreast of evolving practices through ongoing professional development and peer networking.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) accredited by ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within 30 days of employment.
