Our staffing company is seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Recruiter & Business Development Assistant to support our daily hiring efforts while helping grow our client base. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of manufacturing, warehouse, and administrative positions , while also assisting with client relationship development and business growth initiatives.

Recruiting & Staffing Responsibilities

• Support the Recruiting Manager with daily hiring needs
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
• Source candidates through job postings, recruiting platforms, referrals, and outreach efforts
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews
• Match candidate skills and experience to customer workforce needs
• Complete data entry and maintain accurate candidate records
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and E-Verify
• Ensure all onboarding and hiring requirements are completed
• Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process

Business Development Responsibilities

• Assist with generating new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and outbound calls
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
• Support sales initiatives by identifying potential staffing needs within local businesses
• Conduct client follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth
• Assist in marketing staffing services to prospective customers
• Work closely with management to help increase placements, expand client partnerships, and grow revenue

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
• Ability to follow direction while also thinking creatively and independently
• High energy with a strong sense of urgency
• Confidence speaking with both candidates and business decision-makers
• Willingness to learn and grow within the staffing and workforce solutions industry
• Recruiting, customer service, staffing, sales, or business development experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistency are a must
• A results-driven mindset with an understanding that increasing placements, employee retention, and client growth are essential to team success
