Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet federal and state requirements
• Adapt general education lessons for students with a variety of disabilities
• Assess student progress, utilizing data-driven strategies to modify instruction as needed
• Work closely with related service providers, general education teachers, and parents to support each student’s success
• Provide a safe, encouraging classroom promoting social, emotional, and academic growth
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives
