Property Accountant

Staff Accountant – Commercial Property Management Renowned Recruitment Group is partnering with an established, privately held commercial real estate investment and property management organization to identify an experienced Staff Accountant. This is an onsite opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong background in commercial property accounting. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Yardi Voyager and CAM reconciliations, along with a stable employment history. Responsibilities Prepare and complete CAM reconciliations, including reviewing lease provisions and coordinating tenant communications Review commercial leases for CAM provisions and maintain information in Yardi Voyager and Excel Calculate retail and percentage rent Manage property tax records, payments and assessed‑value tracking Maintain cash‑management schedules and initiate/approve wire transfers Prepare journal entries and monthly bank reconciliations Review balance‑sheet accounts, including AR, AP, prepaid expenses and security deposits Process internal property‑management fees Assist with budgeting for property taxes, insurance and licenses Maintain appropriate entity compliance with local and state agencies Support property acquisitions and accounting onboarding Assist with accounting policies, procedures and software implementations Provide backup support for AP and AR Handle special projects and additional accounting responsibilities as needed Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience within commercial property management Yardi Voyager experience required Hands‑on CAM reconciliation experience required Strong understanding of commercial leases and CAM provisions Experience with office, retail and/or industrial properties Retail and percentage‑rent experience is a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent relevant experience Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work onsite in the Novato, CA area #J-18808-Ljbffr
