This position operates primarily in a home care setting, where the physical therapist will visit and treat patients in their residences. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, including the review of pertinent medical history, assessment of physical abilities, and identification of rehabilitation goals.
• Developing comprehensive patient care plans that reflect individual needs, education on the findings, and aligning treatment approaches with patient and family aspirations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role requires working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain issues, and rehabilitation for neurological conditions. Our therapists are trained to tailor their approach to meet the unique needs and limitations of each individual, ensuring a supportive and holistic pathway to recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license for Physical Therapy in Florida, as required for this location.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• While prior work experience in physical therapy is not mandatory, a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates who have previous supervisory or mentorship experience, familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
