We are seeking a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dedicated team at Life Solutions Counseling Center. Work Environment\n

This role is remote, offering the flexibility necessary to balance professional responsibilities with personal well-being. Our scheduling typically runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of our clients. As a part of an interdisciplinary team, you will engage in regular case discussions and collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to ensure the best possible care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique experiences and cultural background, using these insights to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aligned with best practices, ensuring they are culturally responsive and sensitive to individual needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns and promoting resilience among clients.

• Engage actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to provide a coordinated and comprehensive approach to mental health care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing strong crisis management skills to stabilize clients effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options available, and community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to state licensing regulations and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Participate in case review meetings, cultural competency training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities to remain current with the latest research and methodologies in mental health therapy.

In your role, you will primarily serve individuals from varied cultural backgrounds, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and members of immigrant communities. Understanding the nuances of these experiences will enhance your treatment efficacy. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and culturally competent treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficient in managing individual and group therapy sessions, employing inclusive therapeutic practices.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the capability to navigate challenging scenarios effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct experience in a mental health setting, including familiarity with crisis intervention, group therapy facilitation, and collaborative treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits\n
