Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique history and treatment needs, guiding the development of personalized care plans.

• Implement individualized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, emphasizing healing and coping mechanism development in a supportive environment.

• Maintain collaborative communication with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the holistic needs of patients.

• Respond to crises and intervene during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and support.

• Educate patients and their families on the nature of trauma responses and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Ensure accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical practices in mental health care.

• Participate in continuous professional development, including case consultations and team meetings, to remain current with best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing care to a diverse population of individuals affected by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your approach will be guided by sensitivity to the unique challenges these patients face, and your interventions will aim to strengthen their resilience and foster recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Washington.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, along with a commitment to utilizing trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude when engaging with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms that facilitate effective patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
