Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, strengths, limitations, and goals, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique situations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices tailored to each client's circumstances and desired outcomes, adapting as necessary based on progress.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions focused on a variety of presenting issues, such as mood disorders, interpersonal challenges, trauma recovery, and adjustment difficulties.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychologists, psychiatrists, and case managers—to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing secure electronic health record systems.

• Participate in peer supervision and team meetings to continuously refine your clinical skills, share insights, and remain updated on the latest best practices in mental health care.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives and educational workshops to raise mental health awareness and improve access to services among underrepresented populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Your role is critical in providing support and guidance to those who may feel marginalized or lack access to mental health resources. By practicing cultural competence and sensitivity, you will foster trust and rapport essential for effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and active state licensure as either an LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health or behavioral health settings, demonstrating a commitment to effective client care.

• Strong knowledge of assessment methods, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently as well as within collaborative teams.

• A demonstrable commitment to cultural competence, with an understanding of how diversity impacts mental health care delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

While the required experience focuses on clinical work, additional training or certifications in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be advantageous. Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with community-based mental health resources in the Everett area will further support your effectiveness in this role.
