Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will perform a variety of essential duties, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough psychological assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and specific needs.

• Developing and executing personalized treatment plans that leverage both traditional therapy methods and innovative approaches, ensuring each client receives tailored care.

• Providing in-person and remote counseling sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting techniques based on client requirements.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to address patient challenges effectively.

• Remaining abreast of the latest developments and research in mental health, integrating findings into practice for enhanced therapy delivery.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to support continuity of care and ensure compliance with ethical standards.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support to clients.

• Participating in ongoing professional development activities to enhance therapeutic techniques and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus will be on supporting clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including those grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relation difficulties. A significant portion of our clientele may include individuals affected by chronic illnesses, such as cancer, requiring specialized psychosocial support throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
\n
• Active mental health licensure (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.
\n
• No history of medical malpractice claims as verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly and listen actively, fostering a respectful and collaborative environment.

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Group Connect Mental Health Services, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
