Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is a thriving private practice committed exclusively to orthopedic outpatient care. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet rehabilitation facility that is equipped for comprehensive sports medicine therapies. As a PT-owned practice, we emphasize patient-centered care and are dedicated to fostering an environment that prioritizes exceptional clinical outcomes. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all of whom collaborate closely to provide evidence-based treatment approaches.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility located in Coral Springs, Florida. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while ensuring our patients receive consistent and thorough care. The facility is designed to facilitate dynamic treatment sessions, boasting advanced equipment and technology that enhances the rehabilitation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify and quantify patients' goals, needs, and functional limitations.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions and progress evaluations.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to enhance physical function, minimizing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, reinforcing their progress and celebrating milestones in their journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient encounters using EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate tracking of treatment outcomes and ongoing patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Educate patients about injury prevention and wellness strategies to promote long-term health beyond therapy.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a recognized institution.
• Possess a valid state license as a Physical Therapist, with an impeccable professional record, free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing and executing effective exercise protocols.
• Proficient in EMR Software, with a preference for experience with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation or post-surgical recovery is a significant plus.
