Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our Coral Springs rehabilitation center, where you will engage in a collaborative work environment with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical doctors. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' rehabilitation needs and establish measurable goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based exercise prescriptions.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of 1 patient per hour to ensure high-quality, focused care.
• Educate and guide patients in their recovery process by providing strategies to improve their strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
• Create and monitor customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's lifestyle and therapy goals.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT for accurate documentation and tracking of patient progress and treatment interventions.
• Monitor patient outcomes, continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, and provide ongoing communication with patients and their families.
• Promote a proactive approach to health by advising on lifestyle modifications and non-surgical alternatives for pain management.
• Inspire, encourage, and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation to enable them to reach their full potential in daily activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-operative patients, sports injuries, and chronic pain sufferers. Our diverse patient population ranges from young athletes to seniors seeking to maintain an active lifestyle. Every treatment plan you create will aim to address the specific functional limitations of the patient, fostering a supportive environment for healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Strong skills in utilizing EMR software, preferably WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of best practices related to rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The rehabilitation physical therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
