Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' personal health goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality and focused care to optimize outcomes.
• Employ comprehensive therapeutic techniques that include manual therapy and exercise programs to improve patients' mobility and reduce pain.
• Advise patients on non-surgical alternatives and promote wellness strategies that minimize the reliance on medication.
• Foster motivation through positive encouragement, helping patients stay engaged in their recovery process.
• Document treatment progress accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) and communicate effectively with other health professionals.
• Advocate for holistic health approaches, incorporating strength-building, flexibility exercises, and lifestyle changes into treatments.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans based on patient feedback and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will provide care primarily to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will play a crucial role in enhancing their recovery journey, offering emotional support and practical strategies to regain their functional independence. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Florida.
• No professional disciplinary actions on your record.
• Competence in manual therapy techniques, adherence to best practices in treatment.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, ideally with a focus on rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
