As a Physical Therapist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, engaging in activities ranging from rehabilitation to implementing preventative strategies that promote mobility.

Work Environment

The work environment at our rehabilitation facility is dynamic, supportive, and patient-centered. You will be part of a collaborative team that works together to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. Our facility is designed to provide an array of therapeutic services and includes well-equipped rehabilitation zones that enhance therapy effectiveness. As a full-time member of our team, you will work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs, ensuring alignment with their goals for rehabilitation.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, typically maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for focused and personalized care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to enhance range of motion and joint stabilization.
• Implement cost-effective treatment options that minimize reliance on medications, including promotion of non-invasive alternatives.
• Facilitate patient motivation by creating customized fitness and wellness programs that address their unique limitations and aspirations.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, maintaining records of services, progress notes, and treatment plans, complying with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment methods, adjusting strategies based on patient feedback and outcome measurements.
• Educate patients on best practices for improving health and wellness beyond clinical settings, promoting lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of adults seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative conditions. You will work with a diverse group of individuals, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors seeking support for chronic pain management. Your compassionate approach and expertise will significantly influence their recovery and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A proven track record of successfully aiding patients in their rehabilitation journey and improving patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated skill in using diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to individual patient conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
