Key Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility will be to direct and implement comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans. This includes assessing clients' needs, preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function while maximizing each client's capacity to achieve their functional goals.
• As a physical therapist, you will supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring the effective execution of the prescribed plan of care. Your leadership will guide them in daily interventions and support optimal client outcomes.
• You will conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional capabilities using diagnostic tests that assess muscle, nerve, and joint functions, allowing for precise tailoring of treatment interventions.
• In addition to patient assessments, you will evaluate the clients' home environments, making recommendations that foster independence and enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Carry out manual therapy techniques such as therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage, instructing clients on self-management strategies to maintain their progress.
• Participate in the continuous development and revision of personalized care plans, and document treatment activities and progress in clinical records in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct interdisciplinary meetings to collaborate on treatment strategies with case managers and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Engage clients and their families in discussions about the recovery process, helping them to understand the role of physical therapy in their journey toward recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical activities and therapy outcomes, ensuring timely communication with physicians and other team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will provide essential interventions for diverse age groups and backgrounds, facilitating their rehabilitation experience to ensure they reach their highest potential. You will be instrumental in educating clients about their conditions and the importance of consistent therapy in recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must possess a valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic setting.
• A current CPR certification is essential to ensure the safety of clients and to handle any emergencies that may arise during therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, familiarity with evidence-based practice, and a background in using electronic health records (EHR) software to track patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year.
