Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist is set within our state-of-the-art outpatient office located in Plantation, Florida. This onsite position operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing for a structured workday that promotes a healthy work-life balance. As a therapeutic environment, our outpatient clinic features advanced rehabilitation equipment and tools designed to foster patient recovery through innovative treatments and therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual goals and therapeutic needs.
• Manage a precise caseload of one patient per hour, delivering focused and effective treatment.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patients' unique circumstances.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance patients' mobility and strength.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary, keeping clear and consistent communication with patients and their families.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately in our electronic medical records system, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Encourage lifestyle changes that improve overall health, emphasizing strength, flexibility, and balance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. We focus on helping these patients regain their maximum functional abilities and improve their range of motion. With a strong emphasis on proactive rehabilitation, our approach seeks to empower patients to avoid surgery and reduce reliance on medications through specialized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated competence in manual therapy and exercise program design.
• Strong documentation skills with proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of physical therapy.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your physical therapy license.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired.
• Knowledge of various injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques will be an advantage.
• Experience working with a diverse patient demographic will enhance the supportive role you play.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
